What we do

The Standard for
Indoor Courts.

Indoor courts eliminate the only drawback of outdoor play — weather. West Coast Cushion Courts installs Cushion Extreme surfaces in private barns, sport buildings, converted garages, and purpose-built indoor court facilities nationwide.

An indoor installation requires careful substrate assessment. We evaluate the existing concrete or subfloor for levelness, moisture, and structural suitability before any surface goes down. The Cushion Extreme system adapts to indoor conditions — it doesn't require outdoor drainage engineering, but proper moisture management and ventilation are reviewed before install.

Indoor courts are growing fastest in the Pacific Northwest, where year-round outdoor play is limited, and among California estate owners who want privacy and climate-controlled play. A barn conversion is one of the most unique and impressive installations we've done — and they play as well as any outdoor build.

What's included

Every Project.
Every Detail.

Substrate assessment

Existing concrete floors, plywood subfloors, and sport tiles are all candidates — we assess condition, levelness, and moisture before recommending an approach.

Year-round play

No weather dependency. Barn conversions, garage builds, and dedicated sport buildings all become full-time courts.

Lower maintenance overhead

Indoor courts don't face UV degradation, freeze-thaw cycles, or organic debris accumulation — surface life often exceeds outdoor builds.

Pickleball acoustics

Indoor pickleball generates significant noise. We can advise on acoustic panel placement and surface options that moderate ball sound in enclosed spaces.

Custom lighting integration

Court lighting for indoor spaces — proper lux levels for competitive play without glare. We coordinate with your electrical contractor or recommend vendors.
